She went on to work alongside the bigwigs of Telugu cinema such as Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, Mahesh Babu, Jr NTR, Jagapathi Babu and Ravi Teja, and has movies like Pellam Oorelithe, Nijam, Andhrawala, and Andarivaadu. Meanwhile, she also did a substantial amount of work in Kannada with movies like Suntaragaali, Mandya, Hubli, Tananam Tananam, and Thayiya Madilu.
After getting married to director Prem, she quit acting and instead turned producer, helping her husband with his home production - Prem Pictures, producing Jogayya (2011) and DK (2014). In 2012, she took to politics and joined the BSR Congress Party in 2012, however, she went on to join the Janata Dal in 2013 before finally joining BJP in 2014 and has been with the party since then. Her 2019 release includes Mudivilla Punnagai, directed by Arokiasamy Clement.
