Predominantly a part of the Tamil film industry, Rameez Raja made his debut in 2016 with the horror thriller Darling 2, which also featured Kalaiarasan Harikrishnan and Maya in lead roles. Following his debut, he was cast alongside Janani Iyer in the comedy-drama Vidhi Madhi Ultaa in 2017, directed by Vijay Balaji.
