Ramesh Aravind is a popular Indian actor, filmmaker, and television presenter, who mainly works in Kannada and Tamil films, along with a few movies in Telugu, Malayalam and Bollywood cinema. His notable roles were seen in Sathi Leelavathi, Duet, America America, Nammoora Mandara Hoove, Ulta Palta, Amrutha Varshini, and Sundara Swapnagalu. His 2018 release includes Tunturu. An engineer turned actor, Ramesh Aravind is also a motivational speaker as well as an author. His directorial debut Rama Shama Bhama starring Kamal Haasan and himself is regarded as a classic and one of the biggest hits of the Kannada film industry. He directed the film Uttama Villain starring Kamal Haasan. He has to his credit more than 100 Kannada films, 30 Tamil, 10 Telugu films, besides also acting in Bollywood.
