Born and brought up in Bangalore, Rashmi Kothari, is an artrepreneur of sorts. A self taught mixed medium artist, Rashmi started her art studio Kalatmaa in 1997. She received her Masters in Mass Comm and went on to work for television before getting a MBA in Entrepreneurship from Babson College (MA, USA).

Rashmi has conducted over 200 art events in India and abroad, performed in plays across India. She has been an art and communication educator across age groups (K-12 to grassroots level artisans/artists). Rashmi enjoys being in front of the camera, on the stage, and/or amidst nature enjoying one or the other form of art that she practices.
