After completing her acting course from the Film and Television Institute of India, Pune, Rasika started her career in the Bollywood film industry by doing cameos before eventually gaining recognition and fame with her first lead role in Agyaat (2009) directed by Ram Gopal Varma. His other notable film credits include Kshay (2011), Qissa (2015), and Tu Hai Mera Sunday (2017), a comedy-drama directed by Milind Dhaimade. Apart from films, Rasika has also starred in many TV series like Upanishad Ganga (2008), Kismat (2009), Devlok with Devdutt Pattanaik (2016) and P.O.W. Bandi Yudh Ke (2016).
