After completing her acting course from the Film and Television Institute of India, Pune, Rasika started her career in the Bollywood film industry by doing cameos before eventually gaining recognition and fame with her first lead role in Agyaat (2009) directed by Ram Gopal Varma. Her other notable film credits include Kshay (2011), Qissa - The Tale of a Lonely Ghost (2015), Tu Hai Mera Sunday (2017), a comedy-drama directed by Milind Dhaimade and Hamid (2019). Apart from films, Rasika has also starred in many TV series` like Upanishad Ganga (2008), Kismat (2009), Devlok with Devdutt Pattanaik (2016) and P.O.W. - Bandi Yudh Ke (2016). Her 2020 releases include Lootcase and Darbaan.
