Ravi Basrur is an Indian music and background score composer, director, and actor known for his Kannada debut film Ugramm (2014) for which he won the Zee Music Award and the KIMA International Award for Best Background Score. Before making his debut, in 2012 Ravi released his maiden Kannada album Panak Makkal for which he also wrote the lyrics as well.

In 2014, Ravi made his directorial debut as well with the movie Gargar Mandala starring Adarsh and Shemitha. A couple of years later, he directed the movie Kataka. As a music composer, some of his credits include Ekka Saka (2015), Karvva (2016), and Anjani Putra (2017) and Rathaavaram (2017), Mantram (2017) Bhootayyana Mommaga Ayyu (2018), KGF (2018) and Rajannana Maga (2018) and Marshal (2019).
