An Indian stage, TV and film actor, Ravi Jhankal is best known for his frequent collaboration with acclaimed director Shyam Benegal. An alumnus of National School of Drama, Delhi, Ravi made his debut on the silver screen with Chameli Ki Shaadi (1986). His other notable film credits include City of Joy (1992), Tarpan (1994), Sardari Begum (1996), Zubeidaa (2001), Hawayein (2003), Koi Mil Gaya (2003), Well Done Abba (2010), NH10 (2015) and Panchlait (2017), a Hindi drama directed by Prem Prakash Modi. Apart from films, Ravi has also worked extensively in the TV industry; some of his most notable film credits include Byomkesh Bakshi (1993), Katha Sagar, Yatra, Aahat, Junoon, Bharat Ek Khoj, Pradhanmantri (2013), Savdhaan India (2017) and Panchlait (2017). His 2019 release includes Bagpat Ka Dulha.
