Born in San Antonio, Texas, Renee Victor is best known for her role as Lupita on the TV show Weeds (2005 - 2012). The actress began her career as a professional dancer in Las Vegas and soon gained popularity. Achieving success, Victor went on to perform around the world before hosting her own TV show in Australia. She has appeared on TV shows such as Hotel (1983 - 1985), Men Behaving Badly (1996), That's Life (2000), and The Ortegas (2003). In 2004, Victor was also seen on the acclaimed medical drama ER in which she essayed the role of Florina Lopez.

Few of Victor's movie credits include A Time of Love and War (2016), Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones (2014), Boyle Heights (2010), and Hollywood Familia (2006). In 2017, she voiced the character of Abuelita in Pixar's Coco.
