Renji Panicker is an Indian journalist, scriptwriter, producer, actor, and director who is known for his work in the Malayalam film industry. He began his journey in the industry as a writer and his debut movie as a writer was Dr. Pasupathy (1990). Renji made his acting debut in Sthalathe Pradhana Payyans (1993). He also served as the writer of the movie. His notable acting roles include movies like Ekalavyan (1993), Commissioner (1994), Ohm Shanthi Oshaana (2014), Munnariyippu (2014), Picket 43 (2015), Premam (2015), Anarkali (2015), Charlie (2015), Pavada (2016), Jacobinte Swargarajyam (2016), Oppam (2016), Aanandam (2016), Samarpanam (2017), 1971: Beyond Borders (2017), Viswasapoorvam Mansoor (2017) and Puthan Panam (2017).

He made his directorial debut with Bharatchandran IPS (2005), a sequel to Commissioner (1994). In 2017 Renji has starred alongside Esther Anil, Sijoy Varghese and Leona Lishoy in P. K. Baaburaaj`s Gemini. In 2017 Renji Panicker also starred in debutant director Senthil Rajan`s, Kadam Kadha (2017). The cast also includes Vinay Fort, Veena Nandakumar, Joju George and Srinda Arhaan. His 2018 release includes Kadha Paranja Kadha, Captain, Charlie`s Angel, Orayiram Kinakkalal, Naam, Krishnam and Abrahaminte Santhathikal. His 2019 ventures include Ningal Camera Nireekshanathilaanu, Pengalila, Krishnam, Oru Yamandan Prema Kadha, Mohabathin Kunjabdulla, Love Action Drama, Thelivu and Athiran. His 2020 releases include Kalamandalam Hyderali, Gauthamante Radham and Forensic. His 2021 release includes Anukoni Athidhi.
