Born to an ASEB employee, Babu Chetri, and his homemaker wife Bina Chetri in Haflong, Rewati Chetri is an Indian model and actress. After completing her schooling from St. Agnes' Convent High School, Rewati went on to graduate with a bachelor's degree in commerce from Lumding College. At the age of 23, Rewati participated in the first edition of the Senorita India beauty pageant, where she won the title of Miss International India, following which she went on to represent India at Miss International 2016. The same year, she participated in the Miss University, winning the title of Miss Asia. Meanwhile, Rewati also started pursuing her LL.B at the NEF Law College.

Making her acting debut, she was seen in the 2017 action thriller Gangs of NorthEast, which features Fairy Priya Ahmed, Vivek Bora, and Udayan Duarah in lead roles.
