The lead guitarist of the popular alternative Malayali rock band Avial, Rex Vijayan is an Indian musician, film score composer, music producer and multi-instrumentalist. He started out in Mollywood by scoring the music for Anwar Rasheed`s `Bridge` in the anthology film Kerala Cafe (2009). One among the most sought-after composers in contemporary Malayalam cinema, some of Rex`s most popular tunes have come in movies like Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi (2013), Sapthamashree Thaskaraha (2014) and Parava (2017). Other significant film credits include Chappa Kurishu (2011), Second Show (2012), North 24 Kaatham (2013), Lord Livingstone 7000 Kandi (2015), Mayaanadhi (2017) and Sudani from Nigeria (2018). His 2019 releases include Thamaasha and Valiyaperunnal.
