Richard Dawson (Dawson) was an actor and a game show host and is known for his work in the hit game show Family Feud. Dawson started his career with the stage play since then turned into the television. Dawson's notable works include The Running Man, Treasure Island and Hogan's Heroes. Dawson was awarded with an Emmy Award in 1977 for the show Family Feud. He died of complications of esophageal cancer at age of 79, on June 2, 2012 in Los Angeles.
