Richard Haydn was an English comic actor who made his debut as an actor in 1941 with the movie Charley's Aunt, and had worked in more than 50 films and TV series. He was famous for his work in Ball of Fire, The Emperor Waltz, and Alice in Wonderland. He made his presence in TV series like Happiness Is a Warm Clue and The Wide Open Door. In 1954, he authored a book, The Journal of Edwin Carp.
