American writer Richard Wenk is the mind behind the first installment of the Equalizer (2014). Making his debut with the 1986 film Vamp, Wenk has been a part of many action-heavy films. His notable work includes popular films like The Mechanic (2011), The Expendables 2 (2012), Countdown (2016), The Magnificent Seven (2016), Jack Reacher: Never Go Back (2016) and Renegades (2017). His 2018 projects consist of The Equalizer 2, which is the sequel to the Denzel Washington starrer film and Renegades.
