Ricky Gervais is an English actor famous for his roles in the hit TV show, The Office and for his roles in mainstream cinema. He is also an acclaimed comedian, and has several awards to his name. He began his acting career with the film Dog Eat Dog (2001), post which he appeared in films like Valiant (2005). He gained widespread popularity for his role in Night At The Museum (2006), after which he went on to act in films like Stardust (2007). Ricky then reprised his role in Night At The Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian (2009), which was a commercial success. He then acted in the film Spy Kids: All The Time in The World (2011), and in the documentary, The Unbelievers (2013). His most recent release was Muppets Most Wanted (2014). Gervais has won seven BAFTA Awards, five British Comedy Awards, three Golden Globe Awards, two Emmy Awards and the 2006 Rose d`Or, as well as a Screen Actors Guild Award nomination. He will soon be seen as Dr. Mcphee, in the third part of the Night At The Museum trilogy, Night At The Museum: Secret of the Tomb, which is slated to release December 2014.
