Having won critical acclaim for his debut performance in the 2009 movie Bolo Raam, Rishi Bhutani is an Indian movie actor. In his first movie, Bolo Raam, he played the role of a man who is accused of murdering his mother, and his performance won him praise from film critic Taran Adarsh who stated that the debutant had done "a commendable job" and that he "oozes confidence, despite sharing the same frame with accomplished actors."
Rishi was then seen in a short film titled LOC. A Playground, where he played the role of an Indian Army Officer. In 2014, he made his Tamil movie debut with Madisar Mami Madhana Mama, co-starring Baby Anjali, and Gayathri. The next year, in 2015, he played the role of Jawaharlal Nehru in the biographical drama Jai Jawaan Jai Kisaan, which chronicles the life of the 2nd Prime Minister of Republic India, Lal Bahadur Shastri. Some of his other projects include Gandhigiri (2016), Ashley (2017), Vodka Diaries (2018), and Ram Ratan (2017).
