Ritesh Veerendranath is an Indian actor from Karnataka. Started his career as a mimicry artist, Ritesh later joined ETV Kannada as an anchor. He moved his anchoring job to a local channel, where he worked for five years. He made his acting debut with the Kannada film Krishnan Love Story, which was directed by Shashank. Owing to the popularity of the film and his character, Ritesh got the nickname `Heegu Unte`. He acted in over 60 Kannada films, primarily in supporting roles that includes Mamu Tea Angadi (2014) and Kumari 21f (2015). Apart from acting, Ritesh also worked as a dubbing artist for various characters in Sandalwood. In 2020, he worked as an assistant director for the film Mounam, directed by Raj Pandith. Ritesh`s 2021 project includes Minus One, a thriller film directed by Raj Kirran.
