A popular playback singer in the Bollywood film industry, Ritu Pathak rose to fame with her participation in the popular singing reality show Indian Idol - Season 2 and in Fame X where she was one of the finalists. Her brilliant performances in the show got the attention of the acclaimed music composers Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy who selected her to sing 'Papa Jag Jaayega' in Housefull, which marked her singing debut in a feature film. The singer who has worked with some of the biggest music composers in Bollywood has sung for films like Hello Darling (2010), Double Dhamaal (2011), Race 2 (2013), Grand Masti (2013), Singh Is Bliing (2015) and Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, a Hindi comedy-drama directed by R.S. Prasanna.
