In a showbiz career spanning around two decades, producer and film executive Robbie Brenner has worked with some of the top production companies in Hollywood like Miramax Films, Twentieth Century Fox (as senior vice president), Relativity Media (as president of production) and The Firm (as president of the film division). She is perhaps best known for bankrolling acclaimed movies like A Perfect Getaway (2009) and Dallas Buyers Club (2013), the latter of which was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Picture in 2014.

Other significant production credits include the romantic comedy Serendipity (2001), the biographical adventure drama Machine Gun Preacher (2011), the action thriller Escape Plan (2013) and its sequel Escape Plan 2: Hades (2018).
