Robert Altman born on February 20, 1925, was an American film director, producer and screenwriter. His made his debut with the film Delinquents and his other notable movies include A Prairie Home Companion, Company; Gosford Park, Trixie, Roads and Bridges, The Opera Lover, Cookie's Fortune, and Afterglow. Some of his TV Shows are Tanner '88: The Reality Check, A Walk in the Night and many others. He was nominated and has won many awards including Best Director - 2001 American Film Institute, Best British Film - 2001 British Academy of Film and Television Arts, and Best Director - 2001 Hollywood Foreign Press Association.
