Robert Buckner was an American Film producer, screenwriter and writer wrote his first screen play for the movie Gold Is Where You Find It in 1938. Buckner has a credit of over forty movies as screenwriter and also produced nearly nineteen movies. He is popularly known for his movies Yankee Doodle Dandy (1942), Santa Fe Trail (1940), Dodge City (1939) and Return of the Gunfighter (1967).
