An alumnus of the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, British actor Robert Emms first rose to prominence when he essayed the character of David Lyons in Steven Spielberg's War Horse (2011). He was cast in the role after the director saw him perform in National Theatre's 2009 production of the same. The superhero comedy movie Kick-Ass 2 (2013) and the biographical sports drama Borg vs McEnroe (2017) are some of the actor's other significant acting credits. Besides these, Emms has also appeared in tv shows like Atlantis and Gunpowder. Other notable feature film credits include the political thriller Anonymous (2011), the coming of age drama Broken (2012) and the adventure fantasy Mirror, Mirror (2012).
