Robert Louis Stevenson was a Scottish novelist, poet, essayist, and travel writer. His first adapted novel to be screened was Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde novel on 1908 and has worked in more than 250 films as writer His most famous works are Treasure Planet, Muppet Treasure Island and Treasure Island. Stevenson died on 1894 at age 44
