Robert Mark Kamen is an American film screenwriter and producer. He is best known for writing film series like The Karate Kid, The Transporter and Taken. He began his career as a screenwriter with the film Taps (1981), followed by The Karate Kid (1984), The Karate Kid II (1986) and The Karate Kid III (1989). His other film credits include The Punisher (1989), Gladiator (1992), The Fifth Element (1997), Kiss of the Dragon (2001) and Lucy (2014). His 2019 project includes Angel Has Fallen.
