Robin Bhatt is among the best and most successful screenwriters in Bollywood. He is the brother of filmmakers Mukesh Bhatt and Mahesh Bhatt. He made his debut as a writer with the romantic film Aashiqui (1990), which proved to be a box-office hit. From there, he worked on films like Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke (1993), Baazigar (1993), Gaddaar (1995), Raja Hindustani (1996), and Krrish (2006). Bhatt also appeared in movies like Chalte Chalte (2003), Golmaal Returns (2008) and U Me Aur Hum (2008). His other writing credits include Chennai Express (2013), Jazbaa (2015), Great Grand Masti (2016) and Shivaay (2016).
