Roger Moore is an English actor and producer best known for his roles in James Bond films from 1973-1985. He made his film debut in the year 1945. His various acting credits include Ivanhoe (TV series), The Saint (TV series), Live and Let Die and A View to a Kill (1985). He was honored with “Star on the Walk of Fame” on 11 October 2007. In 2008, the French government appointed Moore a Commander of the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres.
