Rohit Das is a composer, songwriter, producer, guitarist and a vocalist. His music is an eclectic mix of Hindustani classical, alternative fusion and electronic, a unique sound to the music scene. He started his journey forming and playing with a band called Translucent.
Recently he has been closely associated with the Theatre Industry, and been a part of exciting projects like Pi, Andha Yug, Chaar Small, Zinga Zinga Roses, Quixotic Wonderland, Rains, Tunni ki Kahani, Aaj Rang Hain, Pyaar Pe Vaar, Sindabad The Sailor, Imago, Clue, Wolf, Growing Up, Rashomon Blues, Club Desire, Blank Page, Ishq Aaha, Smart City, Loretta, Mayday, Phir Se Shaadi, Jannat Central, Under the Gypsy Moon and a lot more. He has also been composing music for short films and movies as well. He has acted in a Bollywood movie 'H2SO4' which is to release soon and Majid Majidi's upcoming movie 'Beyond The Clouds'.
