An alumnus of the prestigious Berklee College of Music, Spanish musician and film score composer Roque Banos is a multi-instrumentalist well-versed in both piano and saxophone. The composer, whose works are marked by the strong influence of jazz music, has over 70 films in his filmography and multiple Goya Awards to his credit. Some of Banos` best-known works in Spanish cinema include Common Wealth (2000), Salome (2002), 13 Roses (2007), the crime-drama Cell 211 (2009) and El Nino (2014). Among his notable international projects are the psychological thriller The Machinist (2004), Evil Dead (2013), the adventure-drama In the Heart of the Sea (2015), Don`t Breathe (2016) and the action-thriller The Commuter (2018). His 2020 release includes Come Play, directed by Jacob Chase.
