Rosemarie Braddock DeWitt is an American actress born in Queens, New York. She has appeared in several theatrical shows such as John Patrick Shanley`s Danny and the Deep Blue Sea, George S. Kaufman`s The Butter and Egg Man and Craig Lucas`s Small Tragedy. Apart from theatre, she was also seen in popular television series such as the United States of Tara, Mad Men, Standoff, Law and Order: Special Victims Unit, Sex and the City, Rescue Me and Love Monkey.

In 2008, she starred in Rachael Getting Married and won the Satellite Award for the Best Supporting Actress. Rosemarie has also played crucial roles in movies like Margaret (2011), The Company Men (2011), Your Sister`s Sister (2011) and The Watch (2012) and Poltergeist (2015). Her 2018 release includes the comedy-drama movie The Professor.
