About
Filmmaker and producer Ruben Fleischer is best known for directing the acclaimed post-apocalyptic horror comedy Zombieland (2009), which featured Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg and Emma Stone in the lead roles. The movie, which also marked the directorial debut of Fleischer, was both a critical and commercial success. This was followed by the black comedy 30 Minutes or Less (2011) and the action crime film Gangster Squad (2013), both of which opened to mixed critical reception.

Besides direction, Fleischer has also ventured into production through movies like Two Night Stand (2014) and The Mule (2018); and shows like Superstore (2015-) and The Bold Type (2017-). In 2018, the director helmed the superhero film Venom, which was based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name and starred Tom Hardy in the titular role. His 2019 release includes Zombieland 2: Double Tap. His other movies include Uncharted, Bad Trip and Now You See Me: Now You Don't.
