Ruchi Narain is an Indian film director and screenwriter who is best known her work in the film Hazaaron Khwaisein Aisi (2003) and KAL - Yesterday and Tomorrow (2005). Having started her career as an assistant to the acclaimed directed Sudhir Mishra in Is Raat Ki Subah Nahin (1996), Ruchi rose to fame with brilliant story in Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi, which won her the Filmfare Award for Best Story. Her 2017 release includes Hanuman Da` Damdaar.
