Rukshar Dhillon is a UK-born actress, working in the Indian film industry. She made her Sandalwood debut in 2016 with Run Antony, in which she played the role of a suicide bomber. She was praised for her acting in the film.

EARLY LIFE
Born in the UK on the 12th of October, 1993 Rukshar moved to Goa, where she studied till her ninth standard in school. After this, she moved to Bengaluru with her family where she studied at the Baldwin`s and Bishop Cotton`s School. While studying, she wanted to either become a chef or a designer. Hence after completing her schooling, she pursued a degree in fashion designing, but during her course, she began receiving a number of offers for modelling and acting.

ACTING CAREER
After completing her studies, Rukshar started modelling and participated in Max Miss Bangalore in 2012 where she was declared to be the second runner-up. The model then pursued her acting career and debuted with Kannada movie Run Antony, the directorial debut of Raghu Shashtry in 2016. The romantic thriller portrayed her opposite Vinay Rajkumar and Sushmita Joshi. She made her debut in the Telugu film industry with Aakatayi (2017) followed by Krishnarjuna Yudham (2018) and ABCD - American-Born Confused Desi (2019). Her other projects include SS Kanchi`s Show Time, which co-stars Ranadheer. Her 2019 releases include the Hindi film Bhangra Paa Le, where she stars in the lead role opposite Sunny Kaushal. The Sneha Taurani directorial is her Bollywood debut.
