Rup Magon is a Canadian singer, songwriter, producer and actor, who is popular for being the co-lead singer of a South Asian fusion band JoSH. He was the playback singer for the movies It's a Mismatch, Breakaway and French Immersion. As an actor, he featured in movies like Breakaway in 2011, director Deepa Mehta's crime drama Beeba Boys, and the comedy film U, Bomsi n Me. His 2017 acting venture includes director Kavi Raz's The Black Prince, based on the real life story of the last King of Punjab, Maharaja Dalip Singh, starring Satinder Sartaj and Amanda Root in the lead roles.
