Having graduated from the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Rupa Borgaonkar is an Indian actress who has worked in the Bengali, Marathi and Gujarati film industries. After appearing in a couple of advertisements, Rupa made her acting debut with a Bengali short film, Kula in 2016. She made her full length movie debut with Ravi Davalas Marathi drama, Weather Report (2017). In 2018 Rupa stepped into the Gujarati film industry with Rahul Bhole and Vinit Kanojias Gujarati drama, Reva. The cast also includes Abhinay Banker, Chetan Dhanani, Yatin Karyekar, Prashant Barot, Monal Gajjar, and Dayashankar Pandey in important roles. The movie is based on the 1998 novel Tatvamasi by renowned Gujarati writer Dhruv Bhatt. Her 2020 release includes Kesari.
