Film producer Rupa Datta has bankrolled a number of acclaimed Bengali movies in the recent years, notably the thriller Kiriti O Kalo Bhromor (2016) and the romantic comedy Bibaho Diaries (2017). Other significant film credits include the mystery drama Nilacholey Kiriti (2017) and the thriller Good Night City (2018), which starred Rituparna Sengupta and Saswata Chatterjee in the lead roles. His 2019 releases include 17th September and Mitin Mashi.
