Ryuchi Sakamoto is a music composer, record producer and singer based in New York. He has composed the background score for many Hollywood productions over the years, ranging from Femme Fatale (2002) to Dhobi Ghat (2011). Sakamoto also composed the score for the 1992 Barcelona Olympics opening ceremony. He has composed the score for the upcoming Leonardo DiCaprio starring movie, The Revenant, which is set to release in February 2016.
