A former member of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly and the member of the DMDK party, Michael Rayappan is an Indian politician and film producer. The founder and the owner of the production company named Global Infotainment, Michael made his debut as a producer with Nadodigal in 2009. His other notable production ventures include Sindhu Samaveli (2010), Pattathu Yaanai (2013), Oru Oorla Rendu Raja (2014), Miruthan (2016), and Kee (2019), a Tamil sci-fi psychological thriller directed by Kalees.
