S. P. Rajkumar is an Indian writer, actor and director, who works primarily in the Tamil film industry. He started his journey in the film industry as a dialogue writer working on director S. A. Chandrasekhar’s, Once More (1997). In 1998 Rajkumar directed his first feature film,Ponmanam. The movie turned out to be a hit at the box office. His subsequent hit ventures include En Uyir Nee Thaane (1998), En Purushan Kuzhandhai Maadhiri (2001), Karmegham (2002) and Azhagar Malai (2009). Rajkumar also directed unsuccessful movies like Sura (2010) and Pattaya Kelappanum Pandiya (2014). In 2017 he directed Bharathan, Keerthika and Ganja Karuppu in Pakkanum Pola Irukku.
