S. Aishwarya and S. Saundarya, also known widely as Divine Duet Sisters, are among the most popular musicians in Carnatic Music. Both represent a precious musical legacy and are the Great Granddaughters of Bharat Ratna Dr. M.S. Subbulakshmi and the Granddaughters of Dr. Radha Viswanathan, truly the torchbearers of the MS Bani.
Saundarya initially trained under her Grandmother, Dr. Radha Viswanathan, and has also received guidance from Sangitha Kala Acharya Vidushi Smt. Neela Ramgopal for over 10 years. She is skilled in playing the violin and is a trained Bharatanatyam dancer, having performed her Arangetram under Smt. Sumitra Nitin. Saundarya is accomplished in Western Music, having completed her Violin Grade 7 - Practicals with distinction from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM), London, and her Grade 3 in Piano from Trinity College of Music, London. Both sisters, Aishwarya and Saundarya, also learn Hindustani Music under Sri Omkarnath Havaldar.
