S. Shivaram, better known by his screen name Shivaram is an Indian actor, producer, and director who primarily works in Kannada cinema. Known for playing mostly lead hero roles, character roles and comedic roles, the veteran actor in his illustrious career spanning more than 60 years, he has worked in more than 70 films. Having started his career as an actor, he made his debut on the silver screen with Beratha Jeeva (1965), he has subsequently starred in films like Sipayi Ramu (1972), Bangarada Gudi (1976), Driver Hanumanthu (1980), Mugila Mallige (1985), Gandu Sidigundu (1991), Kona Edaithe (1995), Hrudayavantha (2003), Sajni (2007), Breaking News (2012), Shivam (2015) and Once More Kaurava (2017), a Kannada action drama directed by S. Mahendar. The winner of Padmabhushan Dr. B. Sarojadevi National Award, Shivaram, apart from acting has also directed one film titled Hrudaya Sangama (1972) and also produced several films includes Gejje Pooje (1970), Nanobba Kalla (1979), Driver Hanumanthu (1980) and Bahala Chennagide (2001).
