S. Suresh is a civil engineer and consultant by profession and is also a lecturer at the Siddaganga Institute of Technology in Tumakuru. Making his debut as a producer, Suresh produced the 2017 Kannada romantic comedy Kadhal, which also marks the debut in Dharani and his son Aakash Suresh.
