Filmmaker Sachin P. Karande has directed a handful of well-received independent movies in Bollywood in the recent years. He debuted with the thriller film Payback (2010), which was produced under the banner of Archangel Entertainment. In the following year, Sachin helmed the thriller drama Vikalp (2011), which received mixed to positive reviews upon its release.

Among Sachin`s most recent projects are Kota Junction (2015) and Jack & Dil (2018), the latter of which featured Amit Sadh and Sonal Chauhan in central roles.
