An Indian director, editor, and producer, from Pune, Sagar Chhaya Vanjari is noted for his work in Marathi cinema. Born in a typical middle-class Maharashtrian family, Sagar was interested in making movies since a very young age. Having started his career as an editor, he initially edited mostly short films, documentaries, and music videos, he won several awards for his work. He got his big great in the film industry with the National Award-winning film Investment in 2012. Later, he worked on films like Lalka Paag, Ranga Patanga, and Koti.

Apart from being a successful and one of the most technically sound editors in the Marathi cinema industry, Sagar also has produced a film named Video Parlour and the 2018 release Redu, a Marathi drama is his maiden directorial venture.
