Sajitha Madathil is an Indian stage and film actress who is chiefly known for her work in the Malayalam film industry. In a career spanning over two decades, she has appeared in several films, mainly in supporting roles. Sajitha first rose to prominence when she essayed a pivotal role in the 2012 thriller Shutter, which won her the Kerala State Film Award for Second Best Actress. Other significant acting credits include Nizhalkuthu (2002), Adimadhyantham (2011), Akam (2013), Nadan (2013), Njan (2014), Kismath (2016) and Viswasapoorvam Mansoor (2017). Besides acting, she has also served as the Deputy Secretary of Sangeet Natak Akademi. Her 2019 releases include Kunjiramante Kuppayam, Makkana and Stand Up.
