Born in London in 1969, Sal Yusuf developed a passion for the creative arts. He initially honed his skills in pursuit of a Degree in Visual and Performing Arts at the University of Brighton, where puppetry became his particular interest. In 1992, Sal joined Spitting Image, starting as a workshop assistant and eventually becoming a puppeteer on television. After the show ended, he obtained a teaching qualification and still continues to work with children and conduct workshops. In 2007, Sal moved to India, where he established himself as a reputable voice artist, an actor in TV commercials, and a venture into stand-up comedy. Sal has also worked in Malayalam films like James (2022) and has ventured into the Hindi film industry. Sal founded Black Box India in 2014, specializing in voicing animations. The company expanded to include workshops, stage shows, music videos, and short films. `No Strings Attached` marks their fully independent stage debut.
