Salim Kumar is an Indian actor and prominent comedian of the Malayalam film industry. He made his debut in the film Ishtamanu Nooruvattam (1997). Following this, Kumar appeared in several other films such as Thenkasipattanam (2000), Bhadra (2001), Kunjikoonan (2002), Gramophone (2003), Malsaram (2003), Rasikan (2004) and Rajamanikyam (2005). He received praise for his performance as the protagonist in the film Achanurangatha Veedu (2006).
