Salim Merchant (Salim) is an Indian composer and singer. He composes music with his brother Sulaiman Merchant and composed for more than 40 films till now. The duo has been associated with films like Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, Chak De! India, Mardaani, Heroine and many more. Salim also appeared in Television as a judge for the Fifth season of Indian Idol.
