A Pakistani film, theatre, television and voice actor, Salman Shahid has predominantly worked in the Pakistani and Hindi film industry. Known for his comic roles in the films Tal Matol, Teen Bata Teen and Ho Bahoo, the actor is an established name in Pakistani TV and film industry.

Shahid has studied films at the prestigious Moscow Film School and has done a pioneering work in establishing several drama schools and groups in Pakistan. His most notable works include TV series such as Such Gup, Abadeel, Seerhian, Family Front, Jaye Kahan Yeh Dil, Khuda Aur Muhabbat, Noor Bano and Aseerzadi. He has gathered several nominations for serial Bano Ko Pechano at the 2006 Lux Style Awards, for which was the writer and director as well. His acting credits include Pakistani films like Khamosh Pani, Tamanna, Na Maloom Afraad, Teri Meri Love Story, 3 Bahadur: The Revenge of Baba Balaam and popular Bollywood films like Kabul Express, Ishqiya, Dedh Ishqiya.
