Though he holds twin degrees in engineering and management, acting has always been the chief passion of Samarth Ambujakshan. After appearing in over a dozen short films, he made his feature film debut with a minor supporting role in the Mollywood blockbuster Premam (2015). This was followed by the comedy King Liar (2016), which starred Dileep and Madonna Sebastian in the lead roles.

After working as an assistant director in the Jean Paul Lal film Honey Bee 2 (2017), Samarth made his debut in a leading role with the drama film Aickarakkonathe Bhishaguaranmaar, which was directed by Biju Majeed, in 2018.
